Documentaries make up a good portion of my work. Below are several pieces I had the pleasure of directing photography on.
One episode of a series of mini-documentaries I worked on as a Director of Photography. This piece is one of my favorites. We shot 5 profiles of 5 transgender/non-binary individuals chronicling their experiences accessing Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Planned Parenthood in Massachusetts now offers HRT with informed consent to all patients and these videos served as an element of their campaign to advertise this new service.

I received a somewhat last minute message from Justin Springer (OTB Agency) on August 23rd 2018, the day after I got back from my first tour with Dump Him, referring me to Devin Ferreira. Devin called me, told me he had organized a multimedia performance piece premiering tonight at the Hatch Shell theater on the Charles River in Boston, and wanted someone to film it. I agreed to do that, not realizing how SICK the performance would be.
With like, my camera, my iPhone, and Devin’s GoPro, we filmed the performance itself, but I made sure to conduct interviews with Devin (artist educator + organizer), Jake (composer), Clark (performer with relation to the Mattapan Teen Center), and Kiki D. (spoken word artist with relation to the Mattapan Teen Center) to capture the context of what was happening that night. I stumbled onto a story that deeply touched me and inspired me to create this short documentary about it.
Very proud of this film, more proud of those kids and artists.
